Festive Fall Wishes to All,

Angie and I are big fans of fall in the Valley.  Part of that is due to the beautiful color, chasing elk, and Indian Summer days; the
other part is because a couple of our favorite beers hit the taps at the Brewery.  I'm excited to announce that one of our most
popular seasonal beers will be on tap tomorrow (Friday)

SADDLE UP STRONG SCOTCH ALE:  Release night special this Friday only....$3.75/pint.  This big flavor, big alcohol (8.5%
ABV) brew will run at $5/pint normally.  We put about 600 pounds of malt into this beer (by comparison, our amber has about
420 pounds), so its a back breaker to brew, but the final result is worth it :)  Come down Friday and try this dark brown beauty at
a great price.

COMING SOON:  OKTOBERFEST LAGER 2009;  This beers origins stem from Germany where they celebrate the Fall harvest
by brewing a malt dominant lager...our version will hit the taps in about 10 days.  Expect a copper colored, medium bodied,
German style lager that should finish around 5.8 % ABV.

SATURDAY, OCT 3:  RAILS & ALES OKTOBERFEST on the Train.  We will be serving up great beers, sausage, and live music
on the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad as the train churns to La Veta.  Enjoy the town of La Veta's own celebration, then continue
the festivities on the train as the conductor takes you back to Alamosa in comfort.  Call the trains ticket office at 1877-726-RAIL
for info/tickets.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10:  THE SAGEMONKEYS LIVE at the BREWERY, 8:30pm-close.  I have 8 or my college friends flying
in to Alamosa this weekend, so figured we'd better ask Don Conoscenti and Patrick Turnmire to rock the brewery with their
original tunes and a few of your favorite covers.  If you haven't heard Don's internationally acclaimed music, check out
www.donconoscenti.com    or    www.myspace.com/donconoscenti    and take a listen.

Hope to See you at the Brewery, and till then.....Cheers and God Bless Ya,

Scott & Angie
